On 23rd August 2014 three new boards were unveiled in St Peter’s Churchyard. These were part of the Commemoration of the start of the First World War. Two of them were funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and show the location WW1 graves. The third was funded by Kent County Council and shows the location of all WW2 graves. Tour members Maggie Cook and Ronnie Cox are pictured unveiling one of the WW1 boards, and they were joined by Bernie Doran of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. These boards are needed because the Churchyard covers 9 acres, and many graves are hard to find.
The St Peter's Village Tour offers four free award winning guided walks around the historic village of St Peter's, Broadstairs in Kent.
